Service Fees
To maintain high-quality travel support and ensure a seamless booking experience, TheTripTime may apply certain service-related fees in addition to the airline ticket price. These fees may vary depending on airline policies, ticket type, travel route, cabin class, and requested services. All applicable charges are disclosed before booking confirmation whenever possible.
1. Booking Service Fee
A standard booking service fee of up to $25 may apply per flight reservation. This fee covers itinerary processing, airline coordination, secure booking support, and customer service assistance.
2. Reservation Modification Fee
Changes requested after ticket issuance—including travel date changes, destination updates, passenger detail corrections, or flight modifications—may incur a modification fee of up to $50 in addition to airline-imposed penalties and fare differences.
3. Flight Cancellation Fee
If a confirmed reservation is canceled, the following service-related charges may apply in addition to airline cancellation penalties:
- More than 7 days before departure: Up to $25
- 72 hours to 7 days before departure: Up to $50
- Less than 72 hours before departure: Up to $100
- No-show or missed departure: Up to 100% of the ticket value depending on airline rules
4. Seat Selection Fee
Preferred seating, extra legroom seats, aisle/window selections, premium cabin upgrades, or emergency exit row seats may require additional charges depending on airline policies and seat availability.
5. Baggage Service Charges
Checked baggage, overweight luggage, oversized baggage, sports equipment, and additional carry-on items may incur airline baggage fees based on route, cabin class, and airline regulations.
6. Same-Day Flight Change Fee
Some airlines may permit same-day confirmed flight changes for eligible tickets. Additional airline service fees and fare differences may apply based on availability.
7. Priority Services Fee
Optional travel services such as priority boarding, fast-track check-in, airport lounge access, priority baggage handling, and onboard upgrades may carry additional fees.
8. Travel Protection & Insurance Fee
Optional travel insurance or trip protection coverage may be purchased during checkout for an additional cost. Coverage options may include trip cancellation, baggage protection, medical emergencies, and travel interruption benefits.
9. Airline Rebooking Fee
Passengers who miss a flight or request itinerary rebooking after ticket issuance may be required to pay airline rebooking fees, no-show penalties, and any applicable fare difference.
10. Airport & Government Surcharges
Airport taxes, security fees, fuel surcharges, and government-imposed charges may be added to the ticket price based on departure airports, destinations, and international travel regulations.
11. Payment Processing Fee
Certain payment methods, international transactions, or currency conversion services may incur processing charges of up to 3%. Applicable fees will be disclosed before payment confirmation.
12. Unaccompanied Minor & Special Assistance Fee
Additional airline charges may apply for unaccompanied minor services, wheelchair assistance coordination, pet travel, medical assistance, or other special travel requests.
13. Ticket Reissue Service Fee
If an airline requires ticket reissuance due to schedule changes, fare adjustments, or itinerary modifications, a reissue service fee may apply along with any airline-imposed costs.
14. Refund Processing Fee
Certain refundable reservations may be subject to refund administration or processing fees depending on airline fare conditions and supplier policies.
15. Fare Difference Charges
If changes are made to an existing itinerary, travelers are responsible for paying any increase in airfare between the original ticket value and the new available fare at the time the modification is processed.
