These Terms & Conditions apply to all car rental bookings and services provided by TheTripTime (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website or completing a reservation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. General Terms

By making a car rental reservation through our platform, you confirm that you meet the minimum age and licensing requirements and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement. All reservations are subject to availability, supplier policies, and applicable laws.

2. Reservation Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive an official confirmation email from TheTripTime. This confirmation includes rental details such as vehicle category, rental period, pickup location, and payment summary.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms vary depending on the rental type and location. In most cases, full or partial payment is required at the time of booking. Any additional charges incurred during the rental—such as fuel, tolls, damages, or penalties—may be charged after vehicle return.

4. Age Requirements

The standard minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 years. Drivers under 25 years of age may be subject to a young driver surcharge. Age limits and fees vary by location and vehicle category.

5. Driver’s License & Identification

All drivers must present a valid, government-issued driver’s license at pickup. International renters may be required to present an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with their national license and passport.

6. Rental Duration

The rental period begins at the scheduled pickup time and ends upon vehicle return. Rental days are calculated on a 24-hour basis. Late returns may result in additional fees or extra rental day charges.

7. Fuel Policy

Most rentals operate on a “Full-to-Full” fuel policy. Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at pickup. Refueling or service charges may apply if the policy is not followed.

8. Vehicle Inspection & Condition

You are responsible for inspecting the vehicle at pickup and reporting any existing damage before departure. Failure to report visible damage may result in liability at the time of return.

9. Authorized Vehicle Use

The rental vehicle must be used only for lawful purposes and driven by authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement. Prohibited use includes off-road driving, racing, towing, or use under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

10. Insurance & Liability

Basic coverage may be included depending on location. Optional protection products such as Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) or Supplemental Liability Insurance may be offered at an additional cost. Renters remain responsible for damages not covered by selected protection.

11. Cancellations & Changes

Cancellations and booking modifications are subject to our Cancellation Policy. Fees may apply depending on when changes are requested and the rental supplier’s rules.

12. Taxes & Additional Charges

All rentals are subject to applicable taxes, airport fees, and government-imposed charges. These costs are calculated based on pickup location and will be displayed before final payment.

13. No-Show Policy

If the renter fails to collect the vehicle without prior cancellation or notice, the booking may be classified as a no-show and may result in partial or full charges according to supplier policy.

14. Damage Responsibility

The renter is financially responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period. Charges may include repair costs, loss of use, and administrative fees.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which TheTripTime operates. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of applicable local courts.

16. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
